Set up your Tackle - Salesforce integration to be able to use Marketplace scoring on potential customers in your Salesforce pipeline

Marketplace Scoring in Tackle is a tool to estimate which accounts in your Salesforce pipeline are most likely to purchase through which marketplace.

Add a custom button to trigger pipeline scoring

  1. In the Object Manager for the Account Object Details, click List View Button Layout.
    ​

    The "List View Button Layout" is in your left-hand menu of your Account Object Details menu.

  2. Under List View Button Layout, click the drop-down arrow then click Edit.
    ​

    Click the drop-down arrow in the "Buttons Displayed" column of your List View Button Layout menu, then select Edit.

  3. Scroll down to the Custom Buttons section. Under Available Buttons, select Get Tackle Scores, then click Add to transfer it to Selected Buttons.

    The Custom Buttons menu includes a list of Available buttons on the left and a list of Selected Buttons on the right. Click the Get Tackle Scores option in Available Buttons and click the Add button.

  4. Click Save.

Add fields to page layout

In order to see Tackle pipeline scores in Salesforce, you need to add some fields to the page layout for the account record.

  1. Use Setup to go to Object Manager > Account > Page Layouts.

  2. Select the Account Layout page layout.

    Find the Account Layout row in your Page Layouts menu in the Page Layout Name column.

  3. From the Fields menu at the top, drag the following fields onto the page layout:

    • AWS Marketplace Score

    • Microsoft Marketplace Score

    • Google Marketplace Score

  4. Click Save.
