Important

Beginning with the Tackle-Salesforce integration version 1.30, you can map fields with the field mapper. If you are on an older version, you must use these steps to map fields.

Set up your Offers flow with a custom button in Salesforce (legacy)

  1. In Salesforce, use Setup to go to Flows.

(Legacy) Set up a new flow in Salesforce to add a Create Offer button to your Salesforce account.

  2. Click the name of the flow template you need. If you are using AWS and Microsoft use the Create New Tackle Offer V3 flow.

Note: If older flows that are not sub-flows to V3 appear, disregard and use V3 only.

  3. Click Activate.

  4. Once the flow is activated, you can set up the Quick Action Button. Use Setup to go to Object Manager. Search for "Opportunity". Then under Page Layouts click on Opportunity Layout.

  5. Under Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions, click on the wrench icon so you can make changes.

  6. Then, under Opportunity Layout, select Mobile and Lightning Actions to bring up a set up available buttons (or use the search) to find the Quick Action Buttons that correspond to your template: Create Offer.

  7. Drag the button(s) you want from the Opportunity Layout section, down to the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section.

  8. Click Save.

  9. Optionally, you can add a related object for Tackle Offers to your Opportunity Layout (step 5) to more easily track the status of your private offers.

  10. Now, when you open an opportunity, you should see the new Create Offer button.
