Beginning in the Tackle - Salesforce integration version 1.41, Tackle Co-Sell utilizes a feature in Salesforce called Dynamic Forms. This feature brings a more tailored view, designed to make finding and managing co-sell records more efficient and relevant to your needs.

If you upgrade your Tackle package in Salesforce from a previous version, this functionality will be added automatically, along with a new Lightning Page in your org. However, you might need to reassign the new Lightning Record page included in the package to get it to work properly.

Note

With the switch to Dynamic Forms, the following Salesforce fields are changed to read-only, since you no longer need to update them manually:

  • Submission Errors

  • Cloud Partner

  • Cloud ID

  • Sent to Tackle At

  • Submitted to Cloud Partner At

How to reassign the Lightning Record Page

  1. Go to Setup > Object Manager in your Salesforce environment.

  2. Click the Tackle Co-Sell object, then click Lightning Record Pages.

  3. Click Tackle_Co_Sell_Record_Page (Managed) then click View.

  4. Click Activation to assign it to the org/app/record type/profiles you want.

After you click Activation, choose from the menu which organization level you want to assign this object to.

How to revert to your previous layout

If you have customized the Tackle co-sell page layout and prefer to continue using your changes, you have the option to revert back. This may impact your access to new features and enhancements that rely upon the Dynamic forms.

  1. Go to Setup > Object Manager in your Salesforce environment.

  2. Click the Tackle Co-Sell object, then click Lightning Record Pages.

  3. Click Tackle_Co_Sell_Record_Page (Managed) then click Clone.

  4. Remove the existing Details section by clicking the delete icon in the top right corner.

  5. Drag the Record Detail standard component from the left pane to the layout, click Save, and activate it.

In your lightning page builder, you can add components such as Record Detail by dragging them to the place within your page you want them to display.
