Score your sales pipeline in Tackle to get an idea for which buyers are most likely to have an existing relationship with the cloud marketplace based on a predictive scoring model. After the accounts are scored, you can export, prioritize, and share the High-scored leads with your team.

You can score your accounts in bulk using a CSV or XLSX file upload or a single account at a time. After Tackle finishes, you can then export your scored accounts to share or use in another system.

Score accounts in bulk

Important

Before scoring your accounts in bulk, download a CSV or XLSX file of the accounts in your sales pipeline from a customer relationship management (CRM) tool like Salesforce to upload to Tackle.

If you don’t have a CRM file to upload, you can create your own file. Your file must include:

  • Websites of the accounts you want to score in Tackle

  • One or more data columns. Make sure that one of the columns includes the URLs from the marketing website for each account you want to score. Note: Use one account domain for each row when creating your own file. Adding multiple account domains to one row and using commas to separate will result in error.

  • Must be in CSV or XLSX format

Or you can download a CSV template or XLSX template to complete and upload.

  1. In Tackle, go to the left menu and click Prospect.

  2. Click Score accounts and select Bulk file upload. A Bulk file upload option appears.

In the Bulk file upload menu, click to upload or drag-and-drop a CSV or Excel file you've exported from your CRM. A file can contain up to 3,000 accounts to score.

  3. Drag and drop your file to score your accounts or download a template to use instead.

Note: It can take up to one hour for Tackle to score your accounts. After your accounts are scored, you see marketplace scoring of High, Medium, and Low for each of the marketplaces. The High accounts are more likely to buy on the cloud marketplace. Additionally, uploading already scored accounts won't affect your score count.

That's it! Once your accounts are scored, you'll be able to view them in Tackle on your dashboard, in your offers, and more. Tackle will also update the scores on each of your accounts automatically in case something changes, and let you know when new accounts are ranked as high-scoring opportunities.

Score a single account

  1. In Tackle, go to the left menu and click Prospect.

  2. Click Score accounts and select Single account. A Score single account option appears.

To score a single account, add the company's website domain (URL) in the "Score single account" menu, then click Score account.

  3. Enter or paste in the URL for the account that you want to score. It can take up to one hour for Tackle to score your account. After your accounts are scored, you see marketplace scoring of High, Medium, and Low for each of the marketplaces: AWS Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace, and Microsoft commercial marketplace. The High accounts are more likely to buy on the cloud marketplace.

Note: Scoring already scored accounts won't affect your score count.

Export your scored account to share or use in another system

  1. To export marketplace scoring for one or more accounts, select the box next to the name of the account(s) you want to export. To export all, click the box at the top of the column.

In your list of scored accounts, use the checkbox in the first column to select accounts to export, or click the checkbox in the list header to select all.

Filter and CSV export options: Use the filter at the top of the page to search for specific accounts by name, score, marketplace, file, industry, region, and size. You can also export the accounts as a CSV file.

  2. After you’re done exporting, prioritize your accounts and share them with your team. Check out Tackle best practices to help you better plan your strategy.
