Through the Tackle-Salesforce integration, you can score your pipeline directly in Salesforce to surface prospect scores for your sales team.

Before you begin

To score accounts, you must first:

Score accounts in Salesforce

  1. In Salesforce, select the Accounts tab to view a list of your pipeline accounts. You can use filters or lists to pull up the accounts you want to view.

  2. Select the check box next to the accounts you want to score, or select the box at the top of the list to select all accounts.

A list of accounts in Salesforce with scores in each marketplace listed.
  3. Click Get Tackle Scores.

  4. In the pop-up that opens, click Get Scores.

After selecting the accounts you want to score, a message titled "Get Tackle Scores" will pop up informing you that the process may take a few minutes to complete. Click "Get Scores" to continue.
  5. It may take a few minutes to complete this process. You will receive a confirmation message when it is complete. Click Done to return to the list of scores.

  6. The selected accounts will now show corresponding scores for each marketplace that show the likelihood (High, Medium or Low) for that company to transact in the marketplace. These can be set up to be visible both in the account list view, and in the individual account details.

Once your accounts are scored, scores are always up to date. You will not need to rescore the same accounts later, and some accounts can change scores depending on new information and marketplace conditions.

View reports

The Tackle - Salesforce integration comes with several packaged Salesforce reports:

  • Tackle Scores for Accounts with Opps: View accounts scored by Tackle based on their probability to buy through cloud marketplaces (AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud). You can also see Opportunities, Opportunity Stages, Amounts and Created Dates for each account.

View your Tackle Scores for Accounts with Opps report for a full list of your opportunities, and the marketplace scores of each of those accounts.
  • Opps with High Tackle Scores and Offers: View opportunities that have a high probability to buy through cloud marketplaces with private offer records. You can also see co-sell records for reference.

View the report "Opps with High Tackle Scores and Offers" to filter on only highly-scored accounts in one or more marketplace(s).
  • Opps with High Tackle Scores and Co-Sell: View opportunities with a high probability to buy through cloud marketplaces that have been sent to cloud providers for co-sell. It also indicates if private offer records have been created for those opportunities.

View the report "Opps with High Tackle Scores and Co-Sell" to filter on only co-sell opportunities with highly-scored accounts in one or more marketplace(s).

After you score your accounts in Salesforce, to view reports of those scores:

  1. Go to the Reports tab, and open the Tackle Reports folder.

  2. Click the report name to open and view the report.

A full summary of your marketplace scoring is available in your "Tackle Reports" folder in Salesforce.
