What is ACE v14 and what’s changing?
AWS has announced their latest version of the APN Customer Engagements (ACE) program. This requires all customers to migrate to a new version of the Tackle Salesforce package by December 31, 2024 in order to continue without interruptions in co-sell processes.
A few highlights of the upcoming changes include:
Solutions can be included and linked to your co-sell opportunities
Ability to link your AWS Marketplace Seller account to your APN account
Streamlined linking to your private offers
Additional sales activity details
Co-sell field changes in ACE v14
New ACE fields
AWS has added new fields to this version of ACE, which you will be able to send as a part of your opportunity sharing workflow.

Does this opportunity contain classified National Security information? | Partners must set this field to 'Yes' if the opportunity relates to a National Security related opportunity. If the partner does not send a value for this field, the field is automatically set to "No". | Optional |
Customer Data Universal Number System (DUNS) | Specifies the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) to uniquely identify a customer. The DUNS is a nine-digit identification number issued by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B). | Optional |
Opportunity Type | Specifies the type of opportunity, categorizing it as a renewal opportunity, new opportunity, or expansion opportunity. If a partner does not send a value for this field, AWS defaults it to "Net New Business". | Optional |
Parent Opportunity ID | Specifies the | Conditionally mandatory |
Sales Activities | Specifies the sales activities conducted with the end customer that are related to the opportunity. | Mandatory |

Updated ACE fields
AWS has also updated a number of existing ACE fields.
