Before you begin
Uninstalling a package from your Salesforce org is an action that can have major implications for your data and functionality, so we recommend following the below steps in addition to the uninstall instructions:
Perform uninstall during a maintenance window to minimize impact
Review package dependencies
Notify users
Backup data
Remove references to packaged components
Test in a Sandbox environment
Uninstall the package (steps below)
Monitor the org after uninstallation
How to uninstall the package
Go to Setup
In Quick Find > search Installed Packages
Under Apps > Packaging click Installed Packages
Then click Uninstall next to the Tackle for Salesforce package name
In the next screen, you will see a list of dependent components that will be removed as a result of uninstall.
At the bottom of the page, decide whether to save a copy of data
Confirm and proceed by clicking the Uninstall button
If the uninstall fails, carefully read the Problems list provided and follow the instructions
You have successfully uninstalled Tackle for Salesforce.
