Tackle for Salesforce takes advantage of Salesforce’s rich reporting features to give you access to marketplace insights inside the central hub of all your sales data. This article will show you how to find Tackle reporting data in Salesforce so you can use it to identify new marketplace opportunities, follow up with co-sell items, identify historical trends, and more.

You can view your Tackle data in Salesforce using two different reporting features from Salesforce:

  • List views, which display all records from a single Salesforce object in a customizable table.

  • Custom report types, which offer a more customized reporting experience and allow you to cross-filter with fields from a different object.

Salesforce list views with Tackle data

List views display all records from one Salesforce object. They are quick and easy to set up, and are great for displaying your pending action items.

The latest Tackle for Salesforce package includes three list views pre-built:

  • Co-sells with Cloud Errors: Shows co-sell records that have a discrepancy compared to your cloud data to help you identify and troubleshoot any potential errors.

  • Draft Offers: Shows draft offers that have not yet been submitted to the cloud to help keep track of items that still need to be completed.

  • AWS Co-sell Invitations: Shows co-sell invitations that have come in from AWS.

Additionally, you can create new custom list views in Salesforce to display even more insights.

For more information about how to access and use each of these list views, or create a new custom list view of your own, see our article Tackle for Salesforce list views.

Salesforce report types with Tackle data

Report types require more work to set up, but you can use them to compare data from different objects against each other. These reports can be useful for identifying opportunities from elsewhere in your sales org that would be a good candidate to bring into the marketplace, among other uses.

Here’s a full list of report types included with the Tackle for Salesforce integration:

  • Tackle AWS Co-sell Invitations

  • Opportunities with and without Tackle AWS Co-sells

  • Opportunities with and without Tackle AWS Offers

  • Opportunities with and without Tackle GCP Opportunities
