Tackle offers two methods to sign in to your account securely: using a password or via Single Sign-On (SSO). Use this article to help you keep your passwords secure.

How to change your password

  1. Go to the Tackle sign-in page and enter your email address, then click Continue.

  2. Click Forgot Password?

  3. Check your email for instructions to reset your password.

Password policy

To protect your personal information and ensure a secure environment, Tackle enforces the password guidelines detailed below.

Password requirements

When creating or updating your password, please ensure it meets the following criteria:

  1. Length: Minimum of 12 characters.

  2. Complexity:

    • No more than 2 identical characters in a row.

    • Special characters (!@#$%^&*).

    • Lower case (a-z), upper case (A-Z) and numbers (0-9).

  3. Uniqueness:

    • Avoid using easily guessable information like your name, username, or common dictionary words.

    • Your password must not match your last five passwords.

Note

If you connect to Tackle via Single Sign-On (SSO), your password policy is set by your SSO provider, not by Tackle.

Best practices for password security

To further protect your account, we recommend:

  • Using a password manager to generate and store strong passwords.

  • Avoiding shared or reused passwords across multiple accounts.

  • Regularly updating your password.

Enforcement and compliance

Failure to comply with the password policy may result in restricted access to your account. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact our support team at [email protected].
