Custom brand your buyer-facing emails to stand out and let your buyers know they’re purchasing directly from you when shopping on the marketplace.
How email branding works in Tackle
After you create a listing and before creating and sending your first offer, you can set up your email branding, using design elements to give your buyer-facing emails a personal look that aligns with your company. Branding elements include:
A custom logo and branding colors for things like banners and call-to-action buttons
Custom text, including hyperlinks you can add
You can preview your changes as you complete the form and then test your branding before going live. You can also save your branding form as a draft to publish at a later time.
Note
Custom branding currently applies to these buyer-facing emails only:
Private offer instruction emails for all cloud marketplaces sent when an offer is extended
Welcome emails sent after a completed marketplace transaction
Branding elements
Logo
Your logo displays in the header of the email. When uploading a logo:
Choose an image that is a maximum of 140 px wide by 40 px tall with a file size no more than 5 MB
File type format must be a GIF, PNG, or JPG
Add an image with a transparent background. This helps when selecting a background color for the header where the logo is positioned in the email.
Brand background colors
You can add up to three colors to customize your email header, announcement banner, and call-to-action buttons. To select, use the built-in color picker or enter the six-character hexadecimal color(s) of choice.
Email header
The color selected appears at the top of the email and is the background for your logo.
Announcement banner
For banners, the color appears in the section below the header and includes basic information about your product. The text for this section is white, so select a color that contrasts nicely with lighter colors.
Buttons
The button color you choose will be the background hue for all the calls to action in the email. The text for the buttons is white, so select a color that contrasts nicely with lighter colors.
Custom text
Give your Welcome email a personal touch by adding custom text, including hyperlinks. To add, click in the text box and start typing your message. The character max is 200.
To save your message, click Save as draft. If you want to edit, click Edit message or in the text box. To clear the text box, click Reset to default or hit the Escape button on your computer.
Note: Adding custom text is optional. If you don’t customize the text, a default message will appear in your emails.

Note: Test emails will show the seller as Acme Corp. This seller name is for testing purposes only and will not be used in emails sent to your buyers. When you send emails to buyers, your company name will show instead.
When you’re done testing, click Publish. Your email branding will go live and be used in your emails immediately after you publish.
