Tackle for Salesforce integration data model

A description of each object used in your Tackle for Salesforce integration, and how data flows between them.

When you install the Tackle for Salesforce package from the Salesforce AppExchange, the following objects are created:

  • Tackle Buyer Signal

  • Tackle AWS Co-sell Contact

  • Tackle AWS Co-sell Opportunity

  • Tackle AWS Invitation

  • Tackle AWS Offer

This article will briefly explain each object and detail how data flows between these Tackle packaged objects and your standard Salesforce objects. For more information on each field contained in your Tackle packaged objects, see our Tackle for Salesforce data dictionary.

Tackle object descriptions

  1. Tackle Buyer Signal

    • Represents an Account’s propensity to buy for each cloud marketplace. This object uses a Tackle feature to provide insights on potential sales opportunities within AWS, Microsoft commercial marketplace, and Google Cloud Marketplace.

  2. Tackle AWS Co-sell Opportunity

    • Stores AWS co-sell details related to an Opportunity in Salesforce. This object serves as the primary record for tracking AWS co-sell engagements, including deal registration, partner interactions, and status updates. It links to the associated Opportunity, as well as the AWS Co-sell Contacts object.

  3. Tackle AWS Co-sell Contact

    • Stores customer, seller, and AWS contacts involved in a co-sell opportunity. This object ensures that key stakeholders (such as internal sales teams, AWS marketplace representatives, and customer decision-makers) are properly associated with the Tackle AWS Co-sell Opportunity records.

  4. Tackle AWS Invitation

    • Stores invitation records initiated by AWS as part of the co-sell process. This object captures information related to AWS-generated co-sell invitations.

  5. Tackle AWS Offers

    • Stores private offer records created in AWS Marketplace. This object tracks offer details such as pricing, terms, and associated buyer and partner information.
