Tackle - HubSpot integration

Install, connect, and use the HubSpot integration to sync your ACE Co-Sell opportunities from Tackle to HubSpot.

The Tackle - HubSpot integration automatically syncs your ACE Co-Sell opportunities to HubSpot. When you create or update a co-sell in Tackle, the integration creates and maintains a corresponding CO_SELL record in your HubSpot CRM, associated with the relevant deal.

Prerequisites

Before you connect HubSpot to Tackle, make sure you have the following:

  • A Tackle account with an active AWS Marketplace Management Portal (AMMP) account connection. This is required to generate co-sell data.

  • A HubSpot account with permissions to install apps and manage CRM objects.

Connect HubSpot to Tackle

To install the HubSpot integration:

  1. In the Tackle Platform, select Integrations from the left menu.

  2. On the HubSpot integration page, click Connect to HubSpot.

  3. In the HubSpot authorization window, select the HubSpot account you want to connect.

  4. Review the permissions and click Connect app to authorize the connection.

  5. After you approve the authorization, you are redirected back to the Tackle Platform. The HubSpot integration page confirms the connection is active.

Sync a co-sell opportunity to HubSpot

After connecting HubSpot, you can link co-sell opportunities to HubSpot deals. When you create a co-sell in Tackle and include a HubSpot Deal ID, the integration automatically creates a CO_SELL record in HubSpot and associates it with the specified deal.

To sync a co-sell opportunity:

  1. In the Tackle Platform, create a new AWS co-sell opportunity.

  2. At the end of the co-sell form, in the HubSpot integration section, enter a valid HubSpot Deal ID.

  3. Submit the co-sell opportunity. Within 30–60 seconds, after Tackle creates the co-sell in the AWS Marketplace, a new CO_SELL record appears in HubSpot under the CO_SELL object in the CRM. The record is automatically associated with the deal you specified.

Verify synced data in HubSpot

After the co-sell syncs, verify that the CO_SELL record was created correctly in HubSpot.

  1. In HubSpot, navigate to the CO_SELL object in the CRM.

  2. Open the CO_SELL record associated with your deal.

  3. Verify that the following fields are populated:

The type of co-sell record

Cloud Provider

The cloud marketplace provider (e.g., AWS)

Cloud Status

The current status of the co-sell in the cloud marketplace

Cloud Sales Stage

The sales stage of the co-sell in the cloud marketplace

Cloud Provider ID

The unique identifier assigned by the cloud provider

Tackle ID

The unique Tackle identifier for the co-sell

Verify updates sync to HubSpot

When you modify a co-sell opportunity in the Tackle Platform, the corresponding CO_SELL record in HubSpot updates automatically.

To verify that updates sync:

  1. In the Tackle Platform, open an existing co-sell opportunity that has been synced to HubSpot.

  2. Make a change to the co-sell (for example, update the sales stage).

  3. Wait 30–60 seconds for the change to sync through the AWS Marketplace to HubSpot.

  4. In HubSpot, open the corresponding CO_SELL record and confirm the updated field reflects the change.
