If your Tackle account is disconnected from a marketplace or needs reconfiguration, you can fix this by reconnecting to avoid service or data disruption in your account. These marketplace connections ensure that you can access reporting data and your Tackle account billing is correct. After you’ve reconnected Tackle with the cloud marketplaces, you can access metrics and details as you transact in Tackle.
Connecting to the cloud for the first time? See Connect to Microsoft.
Important
Reconnecting to the cloud may require help from your cloud administrator. Have your administrator or team complete the steps in this article for a successful reconnection.
Reconnect Tackle to Microsoft
For the Microsoft commercial marketplace, you may see one or more errors due to reporting connection issues. To fix, verify that your marketplace Azure Active Directory Application has been configured correctly with Tackle.
In Tackle, go to the left menu and click Account Settings.
Click the Marketplace tab🔗.
Select Microsoft🔗.
Click Step 2: Connect Tackle and Azure🔗 and scroll to the Azure Active Directory section.
Note: For the Application ID, if you change it (or create a new application), you’ll need to update the Technical Configuration section with the new application ID for each listing integrated with Tackle in the Microsoft Partner Center. Once it’s updated, you’ll need to publish each listing. To get there:
Go to Marketplace Offers Overview🔗. You should see all of the Listings Integrated with Tackle in this screen. To edit the Technical Configuration, Click on the listing hyperlink. This takes you to the listing overview.
Go to the Technical Configuration section
Update the Application ID and Tenant ID and then click Review and publish.
Confirm the changes and click Publish.
Publishing could take up to four hours. Once publishing is complete, return to each listing overview page. You’ll see the listing in the Publisher sign off stage.
Click Publish to complete the publishing process.
Repeat these steps for each listing that is integrated with Tackle.
In a separate tab, open Azure Active Directory🔗.
Find the application name Tackle Marketplace App.
If the application name is found, select the application and click Next.
If the application has Manager (Windows) permissions, this is configured properly.
If not, select the Manager (Windows) checkbox and click Add.
If there’s no application name found, return to Step 2: Connect Tackle and Azure🔗 and complete each section:

When you're done, click Continue.
Allow 24 hours for errors, if any, to be cleared from your Tackle Dashboard after you’ve connected.
