Answers to common questions about managing Marketplace contracts

What contracts are shown here?

All AWS marketplace contracts from your selling account are displayed, direct, partner, and public offers that are in active, pending, amended, cancelled, and ended statuses.

When will my contracts be updated?

Most contract data is refreshed within an hour. However, AWS SDDS reporting data is available to Tackle daily at 4 PM EST for the previous day. Files are updated 24 hours after a transaction and some data might not refresh until after these updates.

How do I find a specific contract?

Use the search bar to look up contracts by customer name, billing ID, offer ID, or contract name.

Can I filter contracts by renewal timing?

Yes. Use the Ending filter to view contracts based on upcoming renewal timeframes using predefined date ranges.

Why does the disbursed amount differ from the total contract value?

Disbursed reflects payments that have already been paid by the marketplace. If a contract is still active, remaining amounts may not yet be invoiced or paid.

Why don’t I see a usage record I expected?

The Usage tab only shows usage submitted through Tackle, so usage submitted outside of Tackle won’t appear here.

When should I use filters vs. search?

Use filters when you need to narrow by known criteria (like date range, marketplace, or status), and use search when you have a specific identifier (like an offer ID or billing ID).
