You can associate a Google Cloud Marketplace channel private offer (MCPO) reseller private offer plan in Tackle. Tackle currently does not support the ability to create and send an offer directly from Tackle.
Before you begin
Before you can start creating marketplace channel private offers, ensure that you and your product are enabled and have the correct permissions:
Confirm that your user account has permission to manage reselling for your organization in the Producer Portal.๐ You will need the following roles at the organizational level.

โImportant: Reselling requires Google Cloud Organization๐ permissions, not only Project๐ permissions like other marketplace private offer actions.

Associate Google Cloud MCPOs in Tackle
Important
Before you can associate an offer in Tackle, you must first create the reseller private offer plan in Google Cloud Producer Portal๐.
After you create the offer, you can associate it in Tackle.
Also note that only single-use private offer plans are expected for tracking and booking in Tackle
In Tackle, go to the left menu and click Offers.
Click Create offer and select Partner offer.
Complete each section to prepare to associate a marketplace offer.
When youโre done, review and submit your offer.
How to use partner offer form sections to associate an offer
Each section in the form requires that you enter specific information to associate an offer. See each section to know what information you need and what you can skip for now:
Company name
Enter your buyerโs company name. This name is added to all Tackle email notifications for the associated offer.
Product and listing
Select the listing you used for the partner offer and add the pricing and billing terms for the reseller private offer plan in Google Cloud. For an accurate Tackle order notification, enter as much information as possible to match what is entered on the offer in Google Cloud.
End-user license agreements (EULA)
Selecting or uploading terms and conditions/end-user license agreement is optional.
Note
The reseller of this private offer plan will have the ability to view the configured EULA. This EULA will also be available to resold customers who receive private offers created from this plan.
Registration details
Optionally, complete any registration fields that are configured for the listing you selected.

Tip: As a best practice, complete these registration fields now so your buyers donโt need to. This saves your buyers time and ensures you receive your New Order notification as soon as possible

Contract metadata
Complete any contract metadata fields that are configured for the listing you selected.
As a best practice, use contract metadata to capture internal data points that your internal teams need to identify and book this offer. Any contract metadata added here will be included in the Tackle order notification
Offer details
Enter the offer acceptance deadline date. The reseller has to this date to accept the partner offer. Use this to see a visual indicator on the offer card if the offer is close to expiring. This is optional when associating a partner private offer.
Offer ID
Select the switch to associate to an existing Google Cloud reseller private offer plan and enter the private offer plan ID for the offer. Tackle will use this to track the status of the offer and provide you private offer and order notifications as the status updates.
Notify users
Add the email address of any internal stakeholders that you want to receive email updates on the status of the offer.
Tip
Aa best practice, youโll want to add the account executive (AE) and an internal revenue operations email distribution to keep the AE in the know and include the entire Rev Ops team.
Offer point of contact
The offer point of contact is optional for partner offers. If desired, add the internal point of contact who prepared the offer or of the person you would want to share with the reseller. This is not visible to the buyer.
Tip
As a best practice, add the name of the account executive who worked with the reseller. If the reseller has any questions, they can reach out to the offer point of contact.
Review and submit your offer
When youโre done completing the form, review and submit your offer when youโre ready:
Click Review offer. While the offer is in review, you can view the offer details. If you need to make any edits, click the Pencil icon and make any necessary updates.
After the buyer accepts, Tackle automatically moves the offer in Tackle to Accepted and you receive your new order notification and can book your MCPO deal.
