Private offers

How do I archive a private offer?

Archive direct or partner private offers in Tackle when you want to clean up your offers, retire them for any reason, or if an offer is expiring soon.

Things to know before you archive an offer

  • You can archive any direct or partner private offer in Tackle.

  • Offers cannot be deleted, which is why archiving is ideal for offers you want to remove from your dashboard.

Archive a private offer

  1. In Tackle, go to the left menu and click Offers.

  2. Find the offer you want to archive.

  3. Click the More menu option and then click Archive. A confirmation pop-up opens.

  4. Click Archive to confirm your selection.
Note: Archiving an offer only removes it from Tackle Offers but does not permanently delete it in Tackle or the marketplace. You can recover an archived offer by contacting a Tackle Marketplace guide to assist you.

  5. After the offer is archived, it will show in Archived status. You can check the status in the Offers home page🔗 at any time.

What’s the difference between Subscribed and Accepted statuses for private offers?

Generally, in the happy path, most private offers end when they are accepted and a contract is created. This is true for all AWS Marketplace and Google Cloud Marketplace private offers and legacy Microsoft commercial marketplace private offers. Since Microsoft has an additional step where buyers must create a subscription after accepting their offer, the Subscribed status was introduced for Microsoft private offers in the new Tackle experience released in June 2025.

Can I download a history of all my offers. If yes, is it a full history or a specific timeframe?

Yes. When in Tackle > Offers home page, you can download a history of your offers as a CSV file, based on your filters and selected date range. If you don’t select a range, the file will include a full history of your offers by default. To filter your options and download a file, click the filter icon, make your selections, and click Apply. Then select a date range if needed. When you’re done, click the export (arrow down) icon. The file will download to your computer.

When creating a marketplace offer, can I back date the offer to the first of the previous or same month?

No, you cannot backdate a marketplace offer acceptance, agreement start date, or the installments in a payment schedule to the first of a past or current month for any cloud marketplace or in Tackle platform. However, you can set an agreement to start on the date of the acceptance and use a payment schedule to create future invoices to occur on the first of future months. Disbursements

Where can I track public offers from the cloud marketplaces?

Technically, all disbursements may be tracked in the Tackle > Dashboard > Disbursement Revenue chart and / or in Tackle > Payments. If you don't see it in either, check your cloud connection.

Why does the customer name no longer appear in the Payments section?

Tackle Payments shows data provided by the cloud marketplaces. If a cloud marketplace did not provide the information to Tackle, it will not appear on the Payments page. If you have this issue and need help, contact [email protected].

When should I expect disbursement payments from the cloud marketplaces?

Cloud marketplace disbursement payment timelines vary due to terms and conditions and other factors, depending on which marketplace you’re transacting: AWS Marketplace, Google Cloud Marketplace, or Microsoft commercial marketplace (Azure).
