April 2026
Required update to the AWS Integration — support for Self-Service Billing Adjustments & Cancellations: An important update to the AWS Integration is now available and required. This update enables support for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Self-Service Billing Adjustments & Cancellations, giving you greater control and transparency over your AWS Marketplace billing operations. Key additions include:
A brand new Invoices tab on your contract details page: Access a dedicated Invoices tab directly from your contract details, providing a centralized view of all invoice activity associated with your AWS contracts.
Real-time visibility into every adjustment, its status, and its impact at the invoice level: Track each billing adjustment as it happens — see its current status and understand exactly how it affects your invoices, so you can stay on top of your financials with confidence.
March 2026
Password policy updates: Password requirements have been updated to align with current industry recommendations.
There are no password composition rules (no requirement for a certain number of upper-case or lower-case letters, numbers, or special characters).
There are no password rotation or password history requirements.
Passwords are checked against a set of breached passwords. If your password is breached, you will be required to set a new non-breached password.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA): The primary purpose is to prevent unauthorized access even if your password gets stolen. MFA is widely considered the single most effective step you can take to protect your online accounts.
Improved consolidated Microsoft connection process: New customers can connect their Tackle account to Microsoft (Marketplace and/or Co-sell) in just a few clicks with a streamlined connection process.
Support multiple active agreements per buyer with AWS Concurrent Agreements: When you have buyers who need multiple active agreements — such as multi-department purchasing or mid-term upgrades — AWS now allows multiple active agreements on a single SaaS listing. You can opt in through your AWS Marketplace Management Portal and manage all concurrent agreements directly in Tackle. Learn more about how to opt in.
View and manage all AWS agreements in one place with Contracts: You can now view and manage all current and historical AWS Marketplace agreements — including partner contracts — directly in Tackle. The new Contracts experience gives you a single, unified location to track agreement status, amendments, cancellations, and renewals. Learn more about managing contracts for AWS Marketplace.
Submit metered usage for AWS directly from Contracts: You can now submit metered usage for AWS products directly from the Contract detail screen in the Tackle Platform. Instead of using the legacy metering UI — which no longer supports selecting AWS listings — simply navigate to Contracts, select the contract you want to report usage on, and click Add Usage to walk through the submission flow. The new experience also displays estimated pricing during the submission process, giving you improved visibility into the financial impact of the usage you're reporting. CSV bulk submissions and metering for Microsoft and GCP remain unchanged. Learn more about submitting usage metering to AWS.
Receive timely, status-driven email notifications for AWS contracts: When an AWS contract is created, amended, cancelled, or ended, you now receive email notifications triggered directly by the contract status change — with updated subject lines that reflect the specific event. These new notifications replace the legacy "New order" emails for AWS fully at the start of April, so you always know the current state of your agreements for streamlined operations like deal booking. Learn more about these bookable artifact emails.
Automate downstream workflows with enhanced AWS contract webhook events: When an AWS contract status changes, Tackle now sends cloud-sourced webhook events that include additional agreement details such as agreement ID and offer ID. These enriched payloads support concurrent agreement workflows and will replace legacy order-based webhooks over the coming months. Learn more about agreement webhook events.
Submit metering usage with additional identifiers using the updated Metering API: When submitting metering usage for AWS products, you can now use additional identifiers in your API requests — including licenseARN and agreement_id, as well as remaining backwards compatible with customer_id or aws_account_id and product_cd — to more precisely target the correct contract. These newly supported fields give you greater flexibility and accuracy when reporting usage. Learn more about the updated Metering API.
Trigger manual CRM syncs for Microsoft referrals: ISVs can now trigger a manual CRM sync for Microsoft referrals directly from the Tackle Platform, giving you on-demand control to force-sync your data whenever needed.
Revenue currency codes in AWS co-sell field mapping: AWS co-sell field mapping now supports revenue currency codes, enabling more accurate reporting when working with international deals.
Programmatically archive and unarchive AWS co-sell opportunities via API: API clients can now archive and unarchive AWS co-sell opportunities programmatically, streamlining bulk management of your co-sell pipeline.
Create and update GCP co-sell opportunities in the test environment: You can now create and update GCP co-sell opportunities within the Tackle test environment, enabling you to validate your GCP co-sell workflows before going live.
Auto-sync Salesforce sales stage updates into GCP co-sell opportunities: When you update a sales stage on a Salesforce Opportunity, the change now automatically syncs into the associated GCP co-sell opportunity, keeping your records aligned across systems.
Clarified messaging when co-sell invitations are accepted outside Tackle: When a co-sell invitation is accepted outside of Tackle and no directly linked opportunity exists, you now see clearer messaging explaining the situation and suggested next steps.
Last CRM sync timestamp now visible on co-sell records: Co-sell records now display a "last CRM sync received" timestamp, giving you visibility into when the most recent sync from Salesforce occurred.
Refreshed AWS product configuration for co-sell: The AWS product list used in co-sell workflows — including the AWS products field mapper and the AWS co-sell form dropdowns — has been refreshed to ensure you can always associate the most up-to-date products.
Bug fixes
AWS Funding Used field now clears correctly: The AWS Funding Used field is now properly cleared when the marketing source is set to "None," ensuring accurate field values on your co-sell records.
Resolved AWS validation errors for empty OtherSolutionDescription: You no longer encounter validation errors when the OtherSolutionDescription field is empty on an AWS co-sell submission.
Corrected Next Steps for inbound AWS referral opportunities: The "Next Steps" field now populates correctly for inbound AWS referral opportunities.
Consistent ACE Engagement Invitation titles: ACE Engagement Invitation titles are now aligned and display consistently across all views.
Graceful handling for countries without ZIP or postal codes: Co-sell submissions for countries that do not use ZIP or postal codes no longer produce errors.
Corrected closed-lost description for outbound opportunities: The description text for closed-lost outbound opportunities now displays accurately.
Custom date range picker aligned with query results: The custom date range picker in the co-sell list view now correctly aligns with the actual query, ensuring accurate filtered results.

Users can now download bookable artifacts for AWS private offers from Tackle: Tackle users can now navigate to any accepted AWS offer that they wish to access a Bookable Artifact for, and click the download Bookable Artifact button. If users need to get updated data, they can click the edit offer button, which will allow them to edit any fields like the registration data or the additional details, and, once saved, click download again for an updated Bookable Artifact.
Improved AWS connection for Tackle customers: Tackle customers can migrate their AWS connection to a new streamlined process in just a few clicks for easier maintenance and access to future AWS features. Learn more
In-app guidance for legacy AWS co-sell dashboards: Legacy AWS co-sell dashboards now show an in-app banner that makes it obvious what's changing and how to get ready, right where you work.
Improved co-sell validation and actionable error messages: Updates to co-sell validation logic (including handling of fields like phone numbers) and error messages make it easier to understand when action is required, and what to do next.
Smoother processing during busy periods: Enhancements to backend handling help reduce replays, duplicate actions, and other unexpected behaviors during high-volume activity.
