Downloading bookable artifacts in Salesforce

Written by Michael Crane
Updated over a week ago

In addition to email notifications, you can download bookable artifacts as PDF files for accepted private offers.

Note

You need:

  • Access to Tackle for Salesforce.

  • The private offer you want to reference. You can search by name or other fields, but for the most reliable results, use the offer ID.

  • Pop-ups must be allowed by your browser.

Download from Tackle for Salesforce

  1. In Salesforce, open the opportunity or record associated with the private offer.

  2. From the Tackle-widget, select View offer to open the offer details.

  3. Select Download bookable artifact.

A PDF file is generated that mirrors the email and includes agreement data, product information, pricing, registration and additional contract details, and EULA information.

Editing registration and additional details after acceptance

After a buyer accepts a private offer, you may need to update the seller-supplied metadata you included on the offer, such as buyer contacts, internal reference numbers, or other registration details. Tackle lets you update these fields and regenerate an up-to-date bookable artifact.

Marketplace data fields, including agreement ID, pricing, and contract dates, remain locked and cannot be edited in Tackle. Seller-supplied fields in the Registration and additional details section remain editable. To update these fields, see how to edit offers in Tackle for Salesforce.

After updating registration and additional details, you can download a refreshed PDF so your internal systems and records reflect the latest metadata.
